Nepal Earthquake- Not just the survivors

Here's a little motivational post I wrote when I was feeling down myself. Even I lost a little hope in despair. I needed something to motivate myself and I thought some others like me need the same; so here it is. A little boost up.

An ending is always a start of a new beginning. A sunset is the end of the day which gives us a hope that the next sun rise will bring us everything that we are praying for. There’s always continuity in nature. There’s always something going on and happening every time without us noticing. We have survived everything the nature has put us through till now. We faced the most devastating time of our lives; the great earthquake of 25th April, 2015.

We may not have the right words to express the terror we felt from the past days. Every one of us suffered loss; let it be major or minor. Some of us lost families and relatives, friends and beloved ones. Some of us lost their homes and their well-being in this catastrophe. People went mad; they literally went crazy for they lost everything starting with their families to the wealth they invested in buildings that got destroyed.

Being a victim is easy, being a survivor takes courage to go through a hard phase and being a victor needs everything that will let you win over your devastation. We know that we survived, when more than five thousands of people lost their lives. We are the survivors, now it’s time to win over this crisis. The time has come for us to be victors now.

Let’s stay united. Let’s rebuild again. Let’s march down the road that will lead us to a good life-style and a prosperous nation. Let’s build a path where people walk with integrity that they survived and now, they can achieve whatever their goals may be. Let’s build our country again with greater enthusiasm than ever.

We; Nepalese are known for our bravery, unity and our rich culture including the birth of Lord Gautama Buddha and the mountainous geographical features along with the highest peak of the world Mt. Everest. We lost a part of our history in the earthquake. Many monuments, temples and historical buildings turned into ruins in front of our very own eyes and we couldn’t do a thing to save them at that moment.

In the present; we have an opportunity, a golden one indeed to re-write history again. We may have lost our precious monuments and temples, but they can be built again. We can do it, because we have been given a chance. Whatever we lost in the catastrophe, can never be brought back again but we can make it better than it was before.

This is the time to keep faith, stay united, be motivated and stay encouraged for sake of the betterment our family members and everyone residing in our country. We have to inspire people to follow their dreams and achieve their goals despite what has happened. We have to persuade people to keep believing in the good times and keep faith that everything will be better than normal because people didn’t only lose their family, wealth and property but their sense of balance as well. We have to hold hands together, stay awake and find a reason to live again. All this can happen, if we stay united and act now.

Thanks for reading the post to the last bit! Have a good time and stay motivated. Cheers!
